Fine Jewellery Techniques (JEW4035)

10/02/2018 - MAD Museum Trip

The "Mechanical Art & Design" museum occupies a small space above the shops in central Stratford-Upon-Avon.  It is crammed full of automata, marble runs and various moving sculptures.  The possibilities for adapting the hundreds mechanisms on show, for small scale jewellery, is limitless.  I've come away with lots of inspiration.

Lovely filigree style decoration on these wire pieces (but some fairly shoddy soldering).
