13/12/2017 Cheltenham Trip

Picture
On this particular Wednesday I had to take my car to a garage in Cheltenham, so caught I caught the bus into the centre of town and went to the museum.
The Cheltenham Museum & Art Gallery was renovated in 2013 and renamed The Wilson (after the Antarctic explorer Edward Wilson).
As well as art and temporary exhibitions, the museum has a particularly fine Arts & Crafts collection (of which I am a particular fan).
As well as jewellery, metalwork and other homewares, the museum has an extensive collection of furniture.  It was whilst looking through this that I realised that my cruet set design (especially the one based on the waterworks tower) has a distinct Arts & Crafts feel.
