"Moving Scenes" - 19/05/2019 Technology Demonstrator
When I wrote my project brief, I was under the impression that our grad show work would be in the locked glass cabinets as in previous years.
I therefore decided to build a low value "technology demonstrator" for visitors to play with as they would not be able to see the movement of the actual pieces.
As it turns out, our displays will not be secured behind lock and key (don't get me started on that) but I've made it anyway.
It's twice the original scale and made of acrylic to allow the mechanism to be seen.
