02/11/2018 - Post-Mortem
This is the first module I've actively hated. I’m retraining to get away from computers. It has made my head hurt and my muscles ache. Is therapeutic massage an allowable business expense?
The task was an impossible one and my outcome satisfies neither my own tastes, nor the brief and it won't satisfy Weston Beamor either.
Ironically, I actually love CAD. I'm excited by what it can do, I picked it up really easily and I think I could be very good at it. However, I don’t want to spend the next 20 years on a computer. Will use it for design and visualisation, but will then hand make my pieces.
I admitted on day one of this term, that I wanted to spend less time on coursework, and more time building my business. I was able to fill the endless weeks allotted to design development, with some bench work, but now I’m ready to smash the entire computer room to smithereens with a planishing hammer. Roll on project 2.
