Although technically we were supposed to continue with our cocktail ring theme for the second half of this module, we were told that we could change to something else if we wished. This was a great relief as I was sick to death of maypoles.
Still excited by the success of the rose window commission, I decided to explore this further for the laser welded earring project.
Below is my attempt to categorise some of my favourite rose windows from around the world.
My absolute favourite is the spiral window in Santarem. But alas, it is not vertically symmetrical and therefore not suitable for this particular brief.
