I loved the leafless tree I made in gold, so decided to replicate the design in silver earrings.
I've forgotten to take photos of them, but here's a cheeky snap of me trying to retrieve one of the pieces from down the grill in the process room.
Not my most elegant moment, but it gave the rest of the class a laugh.
I got it out eventually, with the help of steel rod, blue tack and tweezers.

This is my cutting plan (it needs a bit of shuffling to make the most of the material) for a future full range of tree master patterns.
With and without leaves, large and small. I only need to make them facing one direction, because I can simply flip the castings over to make symmetrical earrings. |
