23/10/2018 - Photoshop
I've been using Adobe Photoshop for decades and currently run Photoshop Elements 15 at home.
Every photo in this whole blog has been through it (which is why Instagram bothers me, I want to be able to upload photos from my laptop after they've been edited, not straight from my phone).
I did attend today's class, but didn't necessarily follow Jo's instructions perfectly. For example, I really don't like the "smudge" tool, and prefer to use the "liquefy" filter instead.
Below is the original image we were given to work with, and the edited version I ended up with at the end of the class (given a bit more time, I could do a better job, but this will have do for now).

What was very useful today, was going through ideas for the advertising image we have to come up with as well as designing a logo.
Purely due to lack of time, I'm going to use my current logo. I think it fits with the countryside feeling that the maypole theme evokes and I used it for my spinner pendant last term.
