28/09/2018 - Revised Design Development
I'm beginning to see this is an impossible task.
The course brief calls for a "creative interpretation". But Weston Beamor clearly wants a simple, traditional design that's suitable for mass production.
Plus cocktail rings usually have lots of, and/or large stones. We have not very many, small ones, which are not necessarily suitable for the design theme.
Anyway, these are some ideas for simpler, non-kinetic designs.
But they just don't do anything for me. I can't be satisfied by jewellery that's just a lump of metal.
