A short intermission to university work as I competed in the World Skills, Fine Jewellery Making UK final.
3 and a bit days at the NEC producing a piece of jewellery from a technical drawing, whilst thousands of school kids file past shouting abuse.
I had a catastrophic first day (bit of a melting episode with only 15 minutes to go) but a better second and third day.
Alas, my bad start left me way down the results table but what an experience!
