Blogging

My first week at the Birmingham School of Jewellery and we have been told that we have to keep a blog.  Aaaargh!
Now I've never written a blog before and my Facebook posts are largely limited to cat videos.

The blog is supposed to be an online journal for ourselves (OK I can handle that) but will also be read by our tutors and form part of our assessment (that's more scary).

So I will do my best to write this as a personal diary.  Because I have been making silver jewellery for many years, I shall not go into those techniques and processes that have already become second nature to me (e.g. annealing, pickling, soldering etc.).

Outside of the course, I shall be continuing to run my existing jewellery business, and shall occasionally include commissions and pieces made to sell, in this blog.
