Drawing for Communication 3

A really intense and rewarding morning with Linda.
We started out with a small still life and did time sketches (ranging from 1 minute to 15 minutes) allowing varying amounts of detail.

More timed sketching on another still life, and an attempt to draw left- handed.
This was really interesting as we found we used our whole arm to move the pencil.

We were then let loose to sketch something outside.

We then did some very quick mark making exercises based on textures.

We then used some of these mark making techniques to sketch an object from one of the still lives.
